Technician Schooling, Army Logistics Training Center (2006-2007)

Detachment Commader, 17 Signals Regiment (Sydney 2007-2009)

BTN Technician, Defence School of Signals (Melbourne 2009)

Signalman Purdon deployed on Op Catalyst In 2008 serving with the Overwatch Battle Group (West) Tallil and the Austrailan Naitonal Headquaters at Camp Victroy Iraq. Signalman Purdon has been awarded AASM (with clasp IRAQ 2003), Iraq Service Medal and the Australian Defence Medal.

Signalman Purdon is partnered to Mark and Daughter Bridgette currently living in Melbourne Australia.
