DEFGLIS Represented at UNSW Canberra Equality Exhibition
Visible role models and support during the sexuality and gender discovery process were the key themes of the opening address delivered by DEFGLIS President Nathan White.

Sexual Orientation
Sexual Orientation describes the physical, emotional or romantic attraction that a person experiences.
These feelings that are the result of involuntary chemical responses in the brain that are beyond your control.
Gender Identity
Gender identity describes how a person internally perceives their gender, or sense of gender that forms as people mature.
Gender identity may or may not match a person's sex assigned at birth.

We have resources and information to support families of service personnel, and ex-service personnel.
We also have information for LGBTI people who are seeking employment with Defence we can help to connect you with serving members.
