Military Pride Ball 2026
The Military Pride Ball is the premier annual event for the Defence LGBTI community, their families, friends, and allies. Now celebrating its milestone tenth year, the Ball is a unique opportunity to champion inclusion, celebrate our collective achievements, and network alongside distinguished leaders from both Defence and the wider community.
By bringing our community together, we aim to foster a culture of inclusive leadership and show visible, unwavering support for LGBTI personnel. This remains the only annual event of its kind offering a direct, meaningful opportunity for personnel and their families to connect with senior leadership in a celebratory environment.
The Event Experience
The 2026 Military Pride Ball promises an unforgettable evening, featuring incredible live performances by the fabulous Lancer Band, alongside a spectacular headline entertainer to be announced very soon!
As the primary annual fundraiser for DEFGLIS, this night is open to absolutely everyone—not just our uniformed members. Grab your friends, family, and colleagues, and get ready for a night to remember at the majestic Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
Dress Code: Refer to your “What You Need To Know” email for specific Mess Dress requirements, or simply dress to impress! As a general guide, we suggest black tie or formal evening wear.
