DEFGLIS to implement new management framework

DEFGLIS Chairperson Chief Petty Officer Stuart O'Brien announced plans to begin the process to transform its management framework into one that is better suited to provide sustainable leadership, strategy and policy.

Leading this initiative will be Petty Officer David Brook, who has been delegated the responsibility for consulting with DEFGLIS membership prior to implementing a new framework and conducting elections for key positions.  DEFGLIS is calling for submissions and proposals from the membership base for a management framework. Two such proposals were tabled at in informal member meeting conducted last Friday 28 October 2011.  A third proposal has since been submitted via Facebook.

Submissions for consideration are now open and may be e-mailed directly to PO David Brook or uploaded to the Facebook site DEFGLIS Album for Proposed Management Frameworks.  Members interested in nominating for a leadership position within the new framework should also e-mail PO David Brook.
