Gold in Tennis for David at the Paris Gay Games

2018 09 19 David

DEFGLIS and Air Force member David has won a gold and a bronze medal in his tennis events at the recent Gay Games held in Paris.

He took out the top award Men's A Grade Singles competition, and a bronze medal with his partner Connor in the Men's A  Grade Double competition.

David said that it was a privillege to have spent almost 14 hours on court with some of the finest and friendliest LGBTI athletes from around the world.

"It was an amazing and exhausting week," said David as the Gay Games came to a close.

His next match will be at the end of October at the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance tournament in London.

David is a reservist, who recently completed his training in air base protection before moving to London earlier this year as a manager of human resources.

The Paris Gay Games hosted over 10000 participants in 36 sports, with the following event in Hong Kong expected to draw even larger crowds in 2022.
